WHFL History
WHFL began as WINT-FM. In 1970 Randy Jeffery was brought in as General Manager. Randy brought a new image to WHFL with new calls letters - WHFL - which stood for Winter Haven Florida as an automated Beautiful Music format replaced by an automated Country format. Randy moved the offices and studios to the Florida Citrus Showcase in Cypress Gardens.
