Mark Windsor Biography

My name is Mark Windsor. My first job in radio was under Mal Harrison at WGGG(-AM 1230) in Gainesville, I then went to WORJ-FM (107.7) (Free-form progressive) we were in the orange grove protected by Doberman's out in Winter Garden? (Licensed to Mt. Dora) and I did a weekend show on WLOF(-AM 950) (Lost my AM-FM 8-track car radio to a 'hippy' that left me a rose on my seat in thanks for allowing the theft?). Then I worked at WWKE(-AM 1370), Ocala FL (Top 40) with Dave Carr, Pat McCullers, Joe Folsom, then I went to WDAT(-AM 1380), Ormond Beach (Top 40), then WIVY-FM, Jacksonville (adult rock) then I headed of to Alabama, Mississippi, Racine, Kenosha, Wisc, WRKR-FM and WLIP-AM WJZQ-FM and WZUU-AM changed name to WLZZ Solid Gold 13Z (oldies) then into Chicago. IL at WBBM-FM B96 (we beat WLS in Chicago ratings!) From there I went to KOAQ-FM (adult rock) in Denver, KXKL-FM (oldies) Denver, then to WFOX-FM Fox97 in Atlanta.. Then went geek and worked for IBM as a contractor, and went on my own consulting, now semi retired and got back into audio (voice/over) doing e-learning projects for several hospitals in Atlanta. I also did some background work in movies and was in Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle, (I played an 'old-school biker that gets rousted in the bazaar scene) The Front Runner, (that photo with Hugh Jackman is me behind him), Love Simon, Logan Lucky, TV shows 24 Legacy, Star, and The Gifted. I have recently wrote and produced a country music song called 10thAnthem 1.0 (and 2.0 another version) and a song called the legend of Joe Biden. All on Apple Music, Spotify, iHeart, YouTube Music, Deezer, and many other smaller music outlets.
