Aldo
Vivona began his Central Florida radio career at WLOF-AM
950 in 1964. Aldo hosted the popular teen news and music show
called "Teen Tempo". The show ran between 1964 and 1972.
During that time he also joined WFTV in 1966 as a television
broadcast engineer. In 1967 he joined the engineering staff at WMFE-TV.
At WMFE, Aldo spent 40 years progressively advancing through
management until his retirement in January 2008 as Senior Vice President
for Administration and Technology. Aldo now works part-time as a
management consultant, but keeps his passion for performing live by
also working as a singing entertainer, singing many of the songs he used
to play on WLOF, along with modern country songs. |
