Jeff Campbell  Biography
WMFJ     WDAT

Jeff tells us about his career in Central Florida radio and beyond. "In Spring 1969, I was hired as the Afternoon jock at   WMFJ(-AM 1450).  I used the air name Mark Scott.  I spent about a year there.  (We rocked right up to midnight, and then, after The Beatles tune "Good Night",  we'd run tapes paid for by Holiday Inns and hosted by Dolly Holiday...who would play "Music Till Dawn" type of elevator music.  Morning Drive...we've light the blowtorch and kick it back into high gear.) In 1970, I was hired to do Afternoons at WDAT(-AM 1380)Cleveland Wheeler (Dave Randall) was also there...unfortunately fired over some peace-sign B.S. or something. After Daytona, I went to Z93 Atlanta for evenings as Jefferson Stone,  then to WIVY Jacksonville as PD/Afternoons again as Jefferson Stone (Worked there with the great guys Joe McMillan (Fleetwood Gruver) and Frank Reed, then on to Q93 New Orleans for afternoons/Prod Director, then on to WBOS Boston for afternoons, to MAJIC, Miami for afternoons, to KLDE, Houston for middays and then to New York to start my own National and International V/O firm.  I currently do voice work for ABC-TV, MTV, NBC-TV, Mercedes-Benz, Air France and many more international clients as well as have over 500 voice talents that I represent..."
