Jerry O’Neill  Biography

Jerry hails from the small town of Avilla, Indiana. He attended junior college in Minnesota on a basketball scholarship, then proceeded to get cut, and was “forced” to coach the women’s team at the school!  O’Neill's 35 year career has included being a program director at 3 different radio stations and while in Indiana, hosted the statewide Perdue basketball and football coaches shows. O’Neill has worked in numerous markets including Ft. Myers, Ft. Walton Beach, Lafayette/West Lafayette Indiana, and St. Louis. O’Neill has been a sports talk show host in Orlando since January of 1994 beginning at 
WWZN-AM 540
.  He has been a part of the University of Central Florida football broadcast team since 1995. Jerry joined WHOO-AM 1080, " ESPN 1080" in January of 2008. O’Neill makes very clear his “love” of way too many teams (usually the ones that still have a chance to win a championship). But he is devoted to UCF & Notre Dame football, Indiana University Basketball, and the Atlanta Braves
