History of WWZN
1995-WWZN-AM 540 ''540 The Team''-signed on from the Citrus Bowl after a weekend of loopy sports jokes, song parodies and jingles. Beginning with and  in the mornings, it's a whole new ballgame. Former WGTO personalities were left looking for new jobs along with most of the seven staff members. Marc Daniels moved over from WWNZ-AM 740 to take over afternoons at "The Team", and he will be replaced on the news station by syndicated talker Gil Gross.
