Looks like cost cutting is the reason Marc
'The Coach' Daniels has been let go after 17 years on Central Florida
radio.
Chris Kampmeier, director of
programming for Clear Channel's seven Central Florida stations, released this
statement.
"This is a time of great change in our business and part of that change is
that longtime WQTM Program Director and afternoon host, Marc 'The Coach'
Daniels, will be leaving his position," he said. "In his role with 740
The Team, and as the voice of UCF Sports and the Orlando Predators, Marc made a
major contribution to our enjoyment of local sports in Central Florida. We will
miss his role on The Team. . . ." Marc has a separate contract with
UCF.
