Magic 101.3 Tower Collapse 10-5-24 WTMG-FM 101.3 was knocked off the air by hurricane Helene. Around 10:30 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Helene's winds knocked the tower down along with the roof of the transmitter building being destroyed. |

Moves At WDBO 10-5-24 WDBO-AM 580/107.3-FM weekday afternoon/evening anchor Laurel Lee is on maternity leave as of this week until January of next year. Adios Exitos 96.5, Hello "HITS 96.5" 10-20-24 Cox Media Group announced a format change at WOEX-FM 96.5. The new format will feature AC hits from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. “HITS 96.5” will feature English pop music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. On-air hosts will be Spanish speaking. Artists include Ed Sheeran, Whitney Houston, Adele, Michael Jackson, Shakira, Adam Levine and many others. CMG Vice President/Market Manager JC Campese said in a press release. “As Central Florida continues to grow, our community has asked for a station like Hits 96.5, and we’re proud to deliver this exciting new brand on the largest broadcast signal in the Orlando market.” The new format begins tomorrow, Oct 21. |
