WCFI History |
| 1985-Baltimore-based S&F Communications purchased, for an undisclosed amount, WCFI-FM from its parent company, Abell Communications. Before you could say ''quick profit,'' S&F agreed to sell WCFI to Home News Publishing Co. in New Brunswick, N.J., for $4.7 million. That same year Home News Publishing Co. sold to Duffy Broadcasting for $7.7 million. Then also in 1985, Duffy sold to Capitol Broadcasting Co. Inc |
