Todd Demers  Biography
WBJW    WHLY    WLOF    WFTV

Todd grew up outside of Jacksonville, and came to Orlando and attended UCF in the early 80's.  Todd, with a radio background, worked at Disney as well as , "BJ 105", (WBJW-FM 105.1), "Y-106"  (WHLY-FM 106.7) doing mostly weekend work and eventually on to WLOF-AM 950. Todd worked weekends using the air name of "Jonathan Hart". Roger Stallard was PD at WLOF at the time. Bob Jenkins, known as "Hostile Harve" became good friends with Todd, but they've lost touch over the years.
Then it was on to television. Todd worked with Bob Opsahl at WFTV Channel 9, working overnights and doing early morning cut ins, and weather for the then, newly formed "Eyewitness Daybreak." Danny Treanor was the ONLY weatherman there at the time,  Burd Bullock used to fill in on occasion. Bob Jordan, (yes the same News Director they have now) hired Todd. Bob Jordan's resume took him around the country in various positions over the past 20 years before he returned to the station that really launched his career as a news manager, WFTV. Bob began at channel 9 as an anchor. Todd has been at WREG, the CBS affiliate in Memphis,  for almost 20 years doing the morning/noon weather.
