Jim Poling started his broadcasting career in 1979 at WQSA-AM 1220, Sarasota as a news reporter/anchor.  He later moved to Orlando to WHOO-AM 990 where he eventually became News Director as well as morning anchor on the “Bucks for Breakfast” show with Bucks Braun. In 1983 he joined the Florida News Network (then called “The Florida Network”, then “Florida’s Radio Networks”) and WKIS-AM 740, Orlando as a network news anchor.  He later became Operations Manager and now, 5 owners later, is Director of Operations for FNN under Clear Channel Communications’ ownership.  Jim is also a radio broadcasting instructor at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Orlando.  

2012-Jim has added the position of Program Director at WFLF-AM 540/102.5 FM.
