History of La Preciosa
La Presciosa took to the
air on the 740 frequency on December 29, 2007 after Clear Channel decided to
move most of the sports programming to WFLF-AM 540.
Clear Channel Radio announced the
launch of the "La Preciosa Network" in January of 2006, over more than
a dozen radio stations and says radio and television personality Victor
Manuel Lujan joined its programming line-up. The network features morning
show host Alex Lucas’ “El Genio Lucas Show”, Rosemar Vega, Pepe
Reyes, Jose Valenzuela and Guille Perez. The La Preciosa
format is a Spanish language format which features hits from the 70s, 80s and
early 90s.
