102 Jamz Returns 8-1-24 Audacy announces the relaunch of Orlando’s legendary 102 JAMZ brand, converting WQMP-FM 101.9 from Alternative FM 101.9 to “Orlando’s Home for Throwbacks,” now playing a collection of favorites from artists like 2Pac, Beyoncé, Eminem, Notorious B.I.G., Usher, etc. The frequency was famously home to the original 102 JAMZ from 1988 to 2014. Miguel “Mijo” Irizarry is Brand Manager of 102 JAMZ. The newly revived 102 JAMZ has launched with 10,000 ‘JAMZ’ in a row. Additional on-air announcements will be made in the coming weeks. |
Steele Moves To WOCL 8-5-24 James Steele is moving to WOCL-FM 105.9 as Assistant Program Director/Afternoons. James fills the spot left vacant since the passing of Anthony "Domino" Lini in March of this year. |

Movin' On Up 8-22-24 Norsan Media, owners of WDYZ-AM 660/105.5 and WFYY-FM 103.1 FM has named Alina Berriz as Florida Market President overseeing the company’s stations in Orlando and Jacksonville (WJXR-FM 92.1) Berriz Comes from Seattle, where she was General Manager and Sales Manager at Bustos Media. |
102 Jamz Get Their Call Letters Back 8-22-24 Audacy has regained the original call letters for 101.9 FM. WQMP-FM 101.9 is now WJHM-FM 101.9. I guess that's a true throwback. |
"D-Strong" Has Left The Building 8-25-24 Program Director and afternoon host at “104.5 The Beat” (WTKS-FM-HD2) "D-Strong" has been let go. Dwight joined the station in 2014 and became Program Director in 2017. He is the in-arena DJ for the Orlando Magic Basketball team and previously “102 Jamz” WJHM-FM 101.9. |
