Al
Spry was born in Brooklyn, New York. He
earned his A.A. in Radio
and Television Arts from Orange State and a B.A. in History from the
University at Albany. He began his broadcasting career in 1998,
and has served as a music announcer and promotions assistant with WHTQ-FM
96.5, WMMO-FM 98.9
and as a reporter and producer with WDBO-AM
580 in Orlando. Al is currently Director of Affiliate
Relations for the Florida
News Network, the Alabama
Radio Network, and the Virginia
News Network. He is also the Production Director for FNN,
and serves as the executive producer and co-host of "Florida
Roundtable." Al also serves as a host of the weekend
program, "Your Health Matters" heard on WFLF-AM
540 Saturdays at 4PM. Al and his wife Yvonne have resided
in the Orlando area since 1997.
“The Spry Show” is heard
all over central Florida. Stations include WEUS-AM
810 "The Big 810 AM – Orlando’s Real Talk" every
Saturday morning at 10AM, on WLBE-AM 790,
Leesburg at 2PM and Monday mornings at 11AM on 1490
WWPR, Tampa Bay.
2014-Al currently
serves as co-star and partner of Living Sexy, LLC and the Living Sexy
Radio Network. a cutting-edge branded online and terrestrial radio show
and online music network. He also do voice work, political TV, and
related projects as part of my production company, TNT Top Productions
LLC.
