Congratulations! 5-3-24 Johnny Magic of WXXL-FM 106.7's "Johnny's House" has been nominated for this years Radio Hall of Fame. Voting for inductees begins Monday, May 20th and runs through Monday, June 3rd. The top six vote recipients will gain induction as part of the 2024 Radio Hall of Fame Induction class. The two additional inductees that will make up the eight-person induction class will be selected by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee. The Radio Hall of Fame inductees for 2024 will be announced on Monday, June 17th and will be honored at the 2024 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Thursday, September 19th at the Omni Nashville Hotel in Nashville, TN. |

WDBO Celebrates Centennial 5-22-24 WDBO-AM 580 began as a physics class project on May 24, 1924. E.F. Wineberg, a Rollins College math, physics and engineering professor, launched a 50-watt radio station in a small wooden building on the Winter Park campus. We have a complete history here. |
