History of the WHOG Calls
1998-the call letters WHOG belonged to AM 1120 Hobson City/Anniston, Alabama. The station was owned by Hogan Broadcasting. They previously used the calls WHOG on 1570 AM in Fernandina Beach. Black Crow asked Hogan if they could use the WHOG call letters. After some cash changed hands, WHOG-FM took to the airwaves in Daytona.
