Goodbye "The Buzz", Hello "Rock It" 9-5-24 WHHZ-FM 100.5 has become "Rock It 100.5 FM". Marc Radio’s new format features replaces The Buzz, which had a more typical classic rock music format. The Gainesville station is being programmed to reach primarily male listeners ages 18-49 in Alachua County and surrounding areas. |

Movin' On Up 9-14-24 Leo Vargas let's us know that Casey Wright has stepped down as the weekday morning anchor at WDBO-AM 580/107.3 FM after accepting a new job as a producer at Cox Media Group sister station WFTV Channel 9. Wright originally worked at WDBO as a producer from 2019 until 2020 before returning in 2022 to co-anchor "Orlando's Morning News with Scott Anez" alongside Marsha Taylor. |
He's Back... 9-30-24 Kevin Kon is back on the air in Orlando once again. He announced on Instagram that he has joined Audacy's WOMX-FM 105.1 to do afternoon drive. Clint “CJ” Robinson was holding down that spot, until he was moved to morning's alongside Jenn Lopez. Kon also worked at WPYO-FM 95.3 and WQMP-FM 101.9. |
