Christmas Music On The Way      11-1-22
WMGF-FM 107.7 "Magic 107.7" has announced Christmas music will fill the air on Friday, Nov. 11, beginning at 98:25 AM. They promise a "spin" on the transition.

Ashley On The Move            11-1-22
WWKA-FM 92.3 Assistant Program Director/Music Director and morning co-host Ashley Morrison leaves for Tampa as Program Director for iHeartMedia's WFUS-FM 103.5 effective November 16.. She was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area and is a graduate of Seminole High School in Tampa and the University of North Florida. Obie Diaz will continue at 6AM-10AM.

Russo Enters Hall Of Fame      11-5-22
Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo has been inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2022. Before he became the "Mad Dog" Chris worked at WKIS-AM 740 from 1984 until 1987.

Floyd Media To Buy WQBQ    11-9-22
WQBQ-AM 1410/95.1 FM in Leesburg is being sold by Unity Broadcasting, LLC to Floyd Media Radio. The deal includes translator W236DN at 95.1 FM for $150,000.
 11-13-22-WQBQ-AM 1410/95.1 FM is broadcasting on the FM side as they await a new AM Transmitter. They are on WLBE-AM 790 temporarily until they can get the hardware issues solved.

More Christmas Music      11-9-22
WLRQ-FM 99.3 has joined the Christmas Music brigade. They'll be playing Yule tunes  through December 25th.

Q Broadcasters Purchase Translators     11-9-22 
Black Media Works, Inc is selling two translators to Manuel Arroyo. W278CN 103.5 in Eatonville and W230AL-FM 93.9 in Cocoa. The primary stations are WVVO-AM  and Tropical WONQ-AM 1140 for $200,000. 

Hurricane Nicole Shuts Down Station      11-13-22
WAMT-AM 1190 has been knocked of the air after flooding and power lines going down form Hurricane Nicole.

Jim Bohannon Passes      11-13-22
Westwood One released this press release: “It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that our colleague Jim Bohannon passed away this morning at age 78.  It was Jim's wish to be cremated and he requested there be no funeral service. In Memory

WKTK-FM 95.5 adds Christmas music to their play list as well as WDOZ-FM 91.7, WHIJ-FM 88.1, WJLF-FM 91.7, WMYZ-FM  88.7 and WNUE-FM 98.1.

WFJV No More      11-14-22
WFJV-FM 107.5 has had their licensed cancelled as of Nov 8, of this year.

JC Campese has been promoted to Vice President and Market Manager of Cox Media Group Orlando. In 2000, Campese launched his career with CMG and continued to progress from Director of Events to Digital Sales Manager, then to General Sales Manager, followed by Director of Sales in Orlando.
