Biography

Kathryn's career began as Kathy Dugan, holding down the weekend slot, at WTRS-FM 102.3, "102 Country" in Ocala and her show was #1 in the nighttime after only 11 months! Chris Rhoads of  WHTQ-FM 96.5 trained Kathryn to take his place when he left WTRS. Kathryn would leave WTRS to work at WMOP-AM 900, which was Florida's oldest country station, (now doing Sports Talk) and then returned to WTRS to do nights. Kathryn moved on to do overnights at WOGK-FM 93.7, "K-Country" in Ocala for a brief period of time and then took the midday position at WFKS-FM 99.9 "Kiss FM" in Daytona (now WGNE licensed to Ocala). Kathryn became music director there.  She left WFKS to do airborne traffic at MetroNetworks for WDBO-AM 580. She went by Rebecca Adkins there.  After a year, she was "grounded" and did traffic reports for several stations including WXXL-FM 106.7 (as Kathy Adkins),  WTKS-FM 104.1 (first as Bailey Quarters and then as Kathryn Adkins), WSHE-FM 100.3 (as Jenny Piccolo), WSHE when it became "Cool 100" (as Jenny Take A Ride), WJHM-FM 101.9, "102 Jamz" (as La Queesha) and more. Kathryn was the regular "fill-in" for Erika Lee at 
WOMX-FM 105.1
.  Kathryn, as Marianne Marosan at WXXL-FM 106.7 and as Brandi Shannon at WJHM-FM 101.9. Kathryn left MetroNetworks in 2001 to take a midday position in Evansville, Indiana at 104 WIKY -- the Arbitron-rated #1 AC station in the country. She spent 3 1/2 years doing mid-days and assisting in programming before returning home to Orlando. Currently Kathryn works for Clear Channel's Total Traffic Network.  Stations you'll hear her on are "XL106.7", WXXL-FM 106.7 in Orlando,  95.1 "The Beat" WBVD-FM 95.1 in Melbourne,  WFKS-FM 97.9 "Kiss FM" and WQIK in Jacksonville. Kathryn also does "Psychic News" with Buckethead on WJRR-FM 101.9 as Carrie N. Crabs.  Check out Kathryn's website at
