New Operations Manager 4-3-19
Cumulus Media has named Joe Browning as Operations Manager for WROK-FM 95.9, WHKR-FM 102.7, WLZR-AM 1560 and WAOA-FM 107.1. Browning will also serve as Program Director/afternoon host for WAOA-FM, going by the on-air name of Joe Kelley.
Radio Legends To Wake Up Gainesville/Ocala 4-7-19
One of the leading independent and locally owned radio broadcasters and entertainment producers in the country, announces the addition of LIVE and LOCAL radio veterans in morning drive at two of JVC’s Gainesville-Ocala radio stations. Leroy, the 15-year market veteran who has been waking up Gainesville-Ocala on Country-Rock WXUS-FM 102.3 ("US 102.3"), will join Jenn Ryan as co-host of "The Jenn Ryan Show" on CHR/Top 40 WMFQ-FM 92.9 ("Q92.9") Mon-Fri 6AM-10AM beginning Mon April 8th. Filling the vacant spot at WXUS-FM 102.3 ("US102.3") is radio legend Barry Michaels, who will host mornings from 6AM-10AM beginning Monday April 8th.

Coppelia is joining afternoon host Shadow from 2PM-6PM. Coppelia will also be the Program Director for La Z 102.5, Z’s new Spanish sister station.

Smooth No More 4-1419
From Dennis Snyder: "...WRXW 92.7 LPFM has dropped it's smooth music format and gone to religious programming. The "Smooth" music is still being streamed on line while the FM signal is religious. If you go to Smooth's web site the regular site appears for a few seconds then a pop up says "Farewell Orlando," stating the change is due to lack of listener financial support."
