Three Local Stations Request STAs 4-13-17
WRSO-AM 810,
owned by Star Over Orlando, Inc. has requested an S(pecial) T(emporary)
A(uthority) to operate at reduced power while it repairs lightning
damage to its antenna system.
WPUL-AM
1590 owner Glenn
Cherry has filed for an extension of his Silent
STA while the company looks for a new transmitter site.
WROD-AM
1340 requested a STA to operate from an alternate
site location. Owner Miracle
Media Group, proposes
to use the currently unused WPUL-AM
1590, tower site and to operate with a reduced power of 0.25
kilowatt. WROD's old transmitter site has been discontinued and the
tower is in the process of being demolished. Therefore, in order to
maintain service to the community of North Daytona Beach, the station is
requesting STA to operate from an alternate site which is located 4
kilometers from its licensed site.

The new Discover Palm Coast Radio Show,
hosted by Palm Coast Mayor Milissa Holland, is broadcast weekly from
9:30AM-10AM every Saturday on WNZF-AM
1550/106.3FM. Each week, Mayor Holland and guests on the show will
discuss timely community topics, upcoming events and activities, and
services and initiatives designed to provide residents and visitors a
good quality of life.
