CMA Broadcast Finalists Announced 9-3-14 The morning team of Roger Todd, Tom O'Brien, Mellisa Moran, D.J. Thee Trucker (Dale Sellers) at WPCV-FM 97.5 have been named finalists in the Country Music Association Awards in the medium market category. The winners will be notified next month and will be honored at the 48th Annual CMA Awards on November 5. |

Congratulations! 9-14-14 Frank Reed, a good friend of this website, has won the Scott Campbell Industry Achievement Award which is presented to a Christian Broadcaster or associated professional for outstanding and long-term contributions to the growth of Christian Music Radio. Frank's station, KLTY in Dallas, won the Marconi Award for Religious station of the year. The Christian Music Broadcasters meeting was held at the Disney Yacht Club. |

Off To Texas 9-18-14 "Big Stew" Sawyers has been named the new Operations Manager for Town Square Media's cluster in Tyler/Longview Texas. He will program KNUE-FM 101.5. "Big Stew" had a long history on Central Florida Radio. He worked at WGNE-FM 98.1, WOMX-FM 105.1 and WRUF-FM 103.7. |

Movin' On Up 9-26-14 Cox Media Group has named one time Program Director at WDBO-AM 580, Pete Spriggs, Director of Branding and Programming for News 95-5 FM and AM 750 WSB in Atlanta, as its new News/Talk/Sports Radio Format Leader. In addition, Drew Anderssen, Director of Branding and Programming for Orlando’s WDBO-FM 96.5, is News/Talk/Sports Format Coordinator. Spriggs and Anderssen will continue their current roles, but also work closely with Steve Smith, CMG’s VP of Radio Programming, and all of CMG’s News/Talk/Sports program directors in Orlando as well as other markets. |
