WDYZ-AM 660 "Florida Man Radio" has flipped to ESPN radio. Florida Man will still be heard on translator W288CJ-FM 101.5.

Florida Broadcasters Buys Translator      1-8-23
Manuel Arroyo is purchasing translator W272BA-FM 102.3 (WMIE-FM) in Cocoa Beach from National  Christian Network for $20,000. 

Dana Taylor Leaves The Building      1-13-23
After 28 years has Dana Taylor ended her career at WOMX-FM 105.1 as of Friday, January 13, 2023. In her time at "Mix 105.1" she held positions as Brand Manager, Morning Host 
Assistant Program Director, Music Director, Co-host with the late "Scott McKenzie as part of "The Morning Mix" and finally “The Morning Mix” with Jenn Lopez.

"Lynn" Is Leaving The Building      1-19-23
Suzanne Lynn Cheesman is leaving her post at WPOZ-FM 88.3 to join a station in Washington, DC. "Lynn" has been with WPOZ since 2011.

"Law Enforcement Round Table"     1-19-23 
The "LEO Round Table", a law enforcement talk show will begin airing weekdays at noon beginning February 1st. The program will air on the Boss Hogg Radio Network. Stations include WKFL-AM 1170, WWAB-AM 1330, WHNR-AM  1360 and WAVP-AM 1390/FM 107.5.

Bob Lima Passes      1-20-23
Bob Lima, died Wednesday, January 18 after being diagnosed with cancer in June 2022. Bob's CFL radio career included in 1992 as station manager WGNE-FM 98.3 then on to  WNFI-FM 99.9 as air talent Bob Lee and General Manager from1992-2000, General Sales Manager at WTMN-AM 1430 in 2004.Bob Lima, who worked at radio stations in Georgia,  and Mississippi. Lima is survived by his wife, Stella, his daughter Julie and his three grandchildren. Memorial arrangements will be announced on his website in the future.

WQBQ Sale Finalized     1-21-23
James Floyd, who has been the General Manager of WQBQ-AM 1410 in Leesburg, is the new owner of the station. 

Winter Ratings      1-22-23
Winter ratings are in for Daytona Beach, Melbourne/Titusville  and Gainesville.

Chris Rhoden Joins Morning Team     1-24-23
WPCV-FM 97.5 in Lakeland has added Chris Rhoden to the morning show "Julie and DJ in the Morning" as co-host and producer. Chris is an alumni of WLKF-AM 1430.

Jerry Phillians Passes      1-26-23
Jerry was the sixth Peter Jay at WLOF-AM 950 and also worked at WSLC-AM 1340 before leaving radio for newspaper work finally ending up at The Orlando Sentinel where he spent 17 years. In Memory

Dede In The Morning Coming To WRBD      1-27-23
WRBD-AM 1230/92.1-FM, Gainesville's "Power 92.1" has picked up the syndicated “DeDe in the Morning” show. DeDe and her crew of Kita Rose, J.J. Williamson and J-Kruz. 

New Calls For WGGG      1-27-23
The historic call letters of the Gainesville station that began in 1948 as WGGG-AM has received new call letters from the new owners, Urban One Broadcasting Network. WGGG becomes WRBD-AM 1230/92,1 FM.
