Some History of WVGT
1964-The FCC approved the sale by Robert A. Lewis to Frasure Hull, Inc., for $35,000, of the license for station WVGT at Mount Dora, although Lewis had not held the license for three years, as FCC generally requires. Lewis acquired the WVGT license in July, 1962. Frasure Hull, Inc., holds a permit for a new station WFAQ-FM at Mount Dora which never was put on the air.

1965-David A. Rawley Jr. recently purchased radio station WVGT in Mount Dora. He also owns a majority of the stock of station VVLAF in LaFollette, Tenn.
