iHeartMedia has announced WXXL-FM 106.7 current Program Director Brian Mack will add the same position at  WMGF-FM 107.7. Brian is a busy man as he will also become Vice President of Branding,  a newly created role for iHeart's nine radio station cluster. 
Jack Bradshaw Program Director at WTKS-FM 104.1 will also take on the PD role at WYGM-AM 740/96.9 FM
At WTKS-HD2 104.5"D-Strong" (Dwight Ricketts) will add the position of Program Director to his afternoon hosting duties. Congratulations to all of you.

Bret Baier At Embry-Riddle Speakers Series      1-9-17
The Embry-Riddle University Speakers Series Welcomes Bret Baier, Host of Fox News’ Special Report and Author of "Three Days in January". Baier will join WNDB-AM 1190/93.5 FM's Marc Bernier on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at a new time: 8:15PM. The Wednesday night edition of Special Report with Bret Baier will originated live from the Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach Campus from 6PM to 8PM. The event is free, open to the public and is held in the Willie Miller Instructional Center, Lemerand Auditorium. This event has a special time of 8:15 p.m. Seating will be available beginning at 7 p.m. Overflow viewing rooms will be available with open seating. Click here for a map of campus.

Judge Turns Down Cumulus Settlement With "Timmy Vee"          1-17-17
David Vickery aka Timmy Vee who was fired after 14-1/2 years with WAOA-FM 107.1 and filed a law suit against Cumulus Media for allegedly having air talent work overtime without pay. U.S. Magistrate Judge Karla Spaulding wouldn't accept the settlement. The proposal would have had Vickery and Cumulus "agree to disagree" and pay Vickery $7,000 for his ratings bonus claim and $3,000 for his costs and attorney's fees. Judge Spaulding denied the motion because the "settlement was not attached to the motion in writing and because the motion did not establish the proposed settlement as reasonable for the plaintiff". 

Gainesville Gets "Connections"        1-18-16
"Connections"
,  the nightly syndicated relationships talk show, has been added by JVC Media News-Talk WYGC-FM 104.9, Gainesville. The show, hosted by Al "Blackjack" Spry, Glenda "G-Love" Chauncy, and Melissa Foxx, consulted by Sabo Media, and also airing on Gabnet.Net, will start airing January 30th at 10PM (ET) on WYGC.

WDBO-FM 96.5's Ken Tyndall is moving back over to TV. Ken will rejoin WFTV channel 9. His first stint at WFTV began in1982. He was with the TV station for 14 years and with WDBO for the past seven years. Both WDBO radio and WFTV are owned by Cox Media Group.
