WSJZ Becomes 95 Rock     4-1-15
Cumulus Media, Inc. has announced WSJZ-FM 95.9 has flipped from Sports to Rock. The former Sports station signed on as the all-new 95 Rock, Brevard’s Rock Station. WSJZ-FM and sister station WLZR-AM 1560 were previously programmed as a Sports combo. WLZR will continue programming as "Sports Radio AM 1560 The Fan", the Space Coast’s CBS Sports affiliate. The new on-air lineup for 95 Rock will feature: Mornings with Bubba the Love Sponge, followed by Marci Wiser in Middays, Pyke@Night, and Loveline for Late Night.

WSJZ-FM and sister station WINT-AM were previously programmed as a Sports combo. WINT-AM will continue programming as Sports Radio AM 1560 The Fan, the Space Coast’s ESPN Radio affiliate. The new on-air lineup for 95 Rock will feature: Mornings with Bubba the Love Sponge, followed by Marci Wiser in Middays, Pyke@Night, and Loveline for Late Night. 95 Rock also begins its search for a new Program Director/Afternoon Drive host. WAMT-AM 1190 has flipped from News/Talk "Gotta Know Now" to an ethnic (Haitian) format.  


Former Producer To Take Plea Deal         4-6-15
Chand Worob, former producer at WNDB-AM 1150, will enter a no contest plea to child porn charges on Wednesday according to the Daytona Beach News Journal. Under the agreement, Worob will be sentenced to five years in prison followed by 10 years sex offender probation and must register as a sex offender.


America's Morning Show Joins The Wolf         4-9-15
Starting next Monday, 4-13-15, WOTW-FM 103.1, "The Wolf", will be waking you up with "America's Morning Show". Blair Garner, Terri Clark, Chuck Wicks, Robin Meade and Erika Grace Powell are all part of the crew. This show replaces Bubba The Love Sponge in the AM.

Cumulus Media welcomes John Boyle as the first Program Director of the all-new 95 Rock (WSJZ-FM 95.9), Brevard's Rock Station. Boyle was previously Promotion Director and Director and Producer of Artist Performance Videos for Entercom Sacramento's six-station cluster. Prior to that, he held Program Director positions in San Luis Obispo, CA (KZOZ), Bakersfield, CA (KKXX), and Lansing, MI (WWDX).

Author, columnist and TV personality Eric Metaxas joined the Salem Media Group and will be heard on two Central Florida stations. WLKF-AM 1430 will air his show from 10PM-Midnight and Salem's WTLN-AM 950 will air the program from 3PM-4:30PM weekdays.
