Levin is Out At WDBO 4-14-14 The man formerly known as "Cowhead" has changed his moniker and will debut on WDBO-FM 96.5 beginning tonight. Mike Calta is being syndicated by Cox Media out of their Tampa station, .WHPT. Mark Levin is being replaced by Calta. |

Oops, We Goofed 4-15-14 We reported yesterday that Mark Levin was out at WDBO-FM 96.5. We are mistaken. Nick Figueredo tells me "...It is true that we are airing Mike Calta on News 96.5, but it is a limited engagement and we are still airing Mark Levin at 9PM. |

New Alternative For Gainesville/Ocala 4-19-14 WHHZ-FM 10.5 has become "100.5 The Buzz, North Florida's Rock Alternative". WHHZ picked up the Active Rock format back in 2010. Program Director Kevin McKay told All Access, "The move to a more Alternative lean only made sense to us. In a market such as ours, it only seems right. Alternative is seeing explosive growth right now and we think "The Buzz" is well poised to take advantage of that." |

David Wagenvoord Passes 4-23-14 Thanks to Skip Joeckel for letting us know that David Wagenvoord President of Wagenvoord Advertising Group Inc. , owner of the Tan Talk Radio Network and the author of the best-selling barter book, "No Cash, No Problem." Dave died April 21, 2014 at the age of 82. True to his legend, Dave even bartered his own funeral! |
