This month marks our second year
on the Internet. It all began as a simple tribute page to a couple of local
stations. Well as you can see the work has become much more. We've had so much
help from so many people and you will find them all, among these pages. This
site would not have been achievable without the help of my wife without
whose support this would not be possible. And of course a very special thank you
to all the folks who appear on these pages who have supplied stories and photos
and other information. It's with help from folks like yourself that this
site can truly become a History of Central Florida Radio. Thanks for a
wonderful two years and looking forward to many more.

WWKG-FM 88.7 Sold 8-2-05 Clermont station WWKG-FM
88.7 has been sold by Florida Hispanic Broadcast System Inc.
for $1.74 million. The Central Florida Educational Foundation, headed by
GM Jim Hoge which also owns Christian
ContemporaryWPOZ-FM
88.3. Central Florida Educational Foundation has agreed to
operate WWKG-FM under a Local Management Agreement
until the FCC approves the sale.
