Flagler County Broadcasting Growing 4-6-12 Owners of WNZF-AM 1550/FM 106.3, WBHQ-FM 92.7 and Easy Oldies 100.9 (WBHQ-HD3), Flagler County Broadcasting, LLC, has purchased the construction permit for WAKX-FM 98.7 in Palm Coast for $301,000. Joyner Radio, Inc is the seller. |

I'm Baaaack... 4-15-12 After some health issues and surgery I have returned. So first, I must thank my partner in everything, Wilma, for nursing me back to health. We want to send belated birthday wishes to WPOZ-FM 88.3's Dean O'Neal who celebrated on April 11. WAOA-FM 107.1 morning host Timmy Vee, WMGF-FM 107.7's Tracey Young and WMMO-FM 98.9's Shawn Burke (who also worked with birthday girl Tracey Young at WMGF) who all celebrated on the 13th. And to Steve Schiffman who celebrated on the 14th. |

Fire At Old WDBO Studios 4-17-12 The Orlando Sentinel is reporting a small fire damaged the inside of the former WDBO-AM 580 building on South Ivanhoe Boulevard north of downtown Orlando. Reportedly a group of squatters living in the building could have started the fire. Witnesses reported seeing people fleeing from the building and smoke pouring from the structure. |
